Human PapillomaVirus (HPV) DNA Detection and Genotyping, PCR
This test is used as a screening tool to diagnose cervical cancer. Here, sample cells are examined for the presence of DNA from high-risk HPV types, such as  16 and 18, that are known to cause cancers of the cervix, vagina, and vulva in women. A positive result indicates active viral infection

Chlamydia Trachomatis DNA Detection, PCR
Similar to HPV PCR, this test screens high-risk individuals for chlamydia infection by detecting the presence of bacterial DNA or RNA after amplification in their urine or vaginal swab

Neisseria Gonorrhoea, PCR Qualitative
This test detects the bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae in the swab sample collected from the patient's throat, rectum, or genital area

Interpretation of Test Results

Positive result(Abnormal)
A positive report indicates the intended pathogens in the sample provided. Your doctor may then order additional tests for further analysis.

Negative result(Normal)
A negative report means the sample has no said pathogens. Retesting may be helpful in some instances
