Molecular Diagnostics department offers high end molecular diagnostic testing with advanced, real-time PCR machines for diagnostic/prognostic tests for infectious diseases such as Covid-19, Tuberculosis (TB), HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C viruses and other viruses like Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). Highly sensitive Real Time PCR based tests are used for qualitative detection, quantitative estimation and genotyping of viruses and bacteria. Automated platforms are used for nucleic acid extraction.

Cytogenetics department tests samples to look for changes in chromosomes, including broken, missing, rearranged, or extra chromosomes by methods like karyotyping and Fluorescent In-Situ Hybridization (FISH).

Our flow cytometry department is equipped with an ultra-modern BD FACSLyric flow cytometer for aiding diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of leukemia (blood cancer) and other disorders.

Histopathology and Cytology department is equipped with fully automated tissue processor and stainer for rapid processing of tests. We also conduct examination of FNAC samples and body fluids for identification of cancer cells. The department uses an automated system for Liquid Based Cytology (LBC) for cervical cancer screening, which gives better accuracy in the detection rates of cervical pre-cancer and cancer.

Microbiology department offers testing in areas of bacteriology, mycology, mycobacteriology, virology (including HIV & Hepatitis viruses), through advanced automated systems. The department performs a range of tests for rapid identification of infection causing organisms and susceptibility testing for bacteria, mycobacteria and fungi.

Serology department offers testing in areas of infectious and auto-immune serology, through advanced techniques like immunofluorescence and ELISA among others.

Fully automated 6-part differential blood cell counters facilitate diagnoses of diseases that affect red blood cells, high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) for thalassemia & other hemoglobin disorders, coagulation analyzer for diagnosis of bleeding disorders.

Biochemistry department is equipped with the state-of-the-art fully automated random access analyzers like the Roche Cobas 6000 modular analyzer for routine as well as specialized chemistries such as tumor markers, cardiac markers, drug monitoring, and many more.

The department specializes in analysis of body fluids including their physical, chemical and cellular characteristics to guide diagnosis and management of diseases.

The department uses high end automated analyzers for testing of specialized parameters such as tumor markers.
