KFT helps assess kidney function and may help identify early kidney-related abnormalities by measuring creatinine, urea/BUN, and other parameters depending on the panel. Results should be interpreted along with clinical history, medicines, hydration status, and urine findings where relevant.
CBC Test stands for Complete Blood Count. It measures red blood cells (RBCs), white blood cells (WBCs), hemoglobin, hematocrit, and platelets. Differential count is also included in the same.
A CBC can help evaluate patterns suggestive of anemia, infection, inflammation, immune-related disorders, platelet abnormalities, and blood cancers such as leukemia. However, CBC findings are not a final diagnosis by themselves and may require a doctor's review, repeat testing, peripheral smear, or other investigations.
LFT measures liver enzymes, bilirubin, and proteins to assess liver health. It may support evaluation of liver inflammation or dysfunction, including conditions such as hepatitis, fatty liver, bile duct problems, or medicine-related liver injury. Abnormal LFT results are not disease-specific and need clinical interpretation.
A lipid profile usually measures total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, and triglycerides. It helps assess cardiovascular risk when interpreted along with age, blood pressure, diabetes status, smoking status, family history, and other clinical risk factors.
Fasting Blood Sugar helps screen for diabetes and monitor glucose levels after fasting. For accurate testing, fasting generally means no caloric intake for at least 8 hours; plain water is allowed unless your doctor or lab advises otherwise.
